Q1: What is canister o-ring. The mechanic told me that l have to change it. Is this a fuel filter for ES 300?

Q1: Canister o-ring is a seal between two parts, such as a fuel filter and the fuel line. Without knowing more, I'd think that your mech. is talking about the evap emissions canister.
Q2: search the 'net for salvage yards that specialize in foreign makes. That'd be your best bet.
