should l get a lexus is or es?

IS is smaller and sportier and rear wheel drive. ES is more luxurious, larger and front wheel drive. Whichever fits your needs better is the one to get

Get an IS if you are a sporty driver. Get the ES if you are more conservative, and just like a smooth ride, but still makes good power when needed.

IS F definetly or a GS460

IS is a compact luxury performance sedan with RWD. More fun to drive, but less practical.

ES is a midsized luxury sedan with FWD. More luxurious. More comfortable, more practical.

If you are under 60 years of age, do yourself a favor and buy an IS. Either 250 or 350, whichever you can afford (or the IS F is you can afford it!). The IS is very nice, sporty yet classy, the IS 350 is fast (0-60 in 5.6 seconds) and four door offer all the space you will ever need, sans buying a doghouse.

(All Lexus are Toyotas that wanna be Mercedes anyweigh, why would you want one? but thats beside the point, nor is it what you asked)

Get the IS, it looks so much less plain.

Mercedes is a Chrysler wanna be, that is why they ditched Daimler.

Get the ES350. Save some money, more room, and you will love yourself in the snow.

One is not better than the other. They r very different cars. It depends on who u are. l think the IS also comes in all wheel drive so snow wo not be an issue. If u usually have more than two people in ur car u might want to consider the the ES. 5 people can fit comfortably in the ES 4 in the IS. More golf bags in ES etc etc. Soft cushy ride ES more road feel IS. Go to the dealer & test drive, l think u will figure it out after that. You cannot good wrong with either one . Good Luck

Who in their right mind buys a Mercedes???? After the warantee is up theyre a useless piece of shit. l am a AMG fanatic myself but I'd never buy one as a daily driver, plus everyone knows they're the biggest nightmare to work on.

If you have kids or backseat riders with you often, get the ES. It has alot more leg room.
Very luxurious car. Has lots of great features.

The IS is for singles or couples. There is no room for more than 2 people. It is sporty and you can park it anywhere. But the sound system sucks.

Test drive both and bring your favorite CD to play while driving.
