Call for help to the experienced drivers of the cars above!

Looks like Lexus takes reliability, Infiniti takes the sport, and Acura is the jack of all trades. l found all three SUV is to be similarly priced give or take a grand or two. I am looking for reliability, resale values, driving experience, and ''attention''. By attention l mean this: The RX350 really is not a car that catches the eye when it drive is by in my opinion. To me it looks like a ''grandma'' car. However we all know the FX35 is most definately eye catching, but l heard Lexus is the only one out of the three that actually is considered a ''luxury'' car make. People keep telling me that Acuras nor Infinitis are even CONSIDERED in the ''luxury'' segment. If you have any experience, please help a fool about to spend 40 grand on a car when he is 19 years old out. Including reliability, value, e.t.c., which do you guys think looks the best?

l have a 2007 MDX, & a friend of mine has the FX35. They r both great, but l like the Acura better because of its bold looks. Average mileage is at about 18-21 City, & 17-20 Highway. About $70-$80 at the gas pump on an empty tank. It is extremely comfotable, & spacious. & even though the 3rd row leg room is small (Just like in any other SUV) it has a complete seat. not just a partial one. l would reccomend the one with the Technology Package. As for value, every single car goes down, but Acura, just like Honda, retain their values pretty well. As for Reliability goes. You cant go wrong. In the year l have had the MDX. it has been in the shop twice. First time for an oil change, & the 2nd for an oil change & checkup. l would choose the FX35 or MDX over the Rx350 anyday.

Well l can tell u l have experience with the lexus rx and acura mdx. The lexus has better gas mileage/reliability and resale value. but you wont go wrong with the mdx. if you get the mdx, get it in black.

The Acura takes the reliability. It is made by Honda, which is the number one brand in reliability.

But Lexus is 2nd & Infiniti is 3rd. All r still very reliable & close in reliability.

In Handling & speed, the FX wins since it is built on a sportscar platform.
In gas mileage, smoothness & quietness of ride, the Lexus is better.
The Acura is a mix of the 2. Better handling & performance than Lexus & smoother & quieter than Infiniti.

They r luxury cars.
Honda is the first Japanese company to make a premium brand. Toyota followed after with Lexus. Then Nissan made Infiniti.
In comparison tests, the Infiniti G35 was said to be better than the BMW 3 series, Mercedes C class, Acura TSX, Audi A4, & Lexus IS.

These cars & brands r always compared with each other in magazines & car tv shows. Because they r all luxury cars.

Right now, Lexus is the best selling luxury brand in the world. Maybe that is why people r saying that.
But they r not more luxurious than other Luxury cars. They r the same. But Lexus r known for having the smoothest & quietest rides out of all the luxury cars.
That makes them boring to. l would like to hear the engine & feel the road when l want to drive faster & have some fun.
