Where can I find a new/used engine for 1991 Lexus LS400

go to club lexus. seriously you can find a used motor for your car for less then a few hundred.. post a want to buy thread in the classifieds and i'm sure someone will help you out. I've seen your 1UZFE motor sell as cheap as 150 dollars.

There r two great forums that have good classifieds u can check periodically or ask if anybody has ur 1UZ-FE for sale.

The forums u can go to ClubLexus or LexusOwnersClub.

Also keep in mind that the Lexus SC400 has the same engine. In that car though, only the 92-95 engines r exactly the same as yours. The 96-97 is a tiny bit improved & the 98-00 had VVT-i added which improved it quite a bit. They will all fit ur car, but u might need to go through some paperwork for the later two. but l doubt it since they're all called the ''1UZ-FE.''

You can also check out craigslist.com, but be careful on there & make sure u have a mechanic check the engine before buying it.
