l am thinking about buying this lexus GS300 for $8000 cash at a dealer. Black in color, with no scratches or dents, Clean title. Is this a great buy? How many miles will the car last?

l owned a 2002 Lexus GS430, new. l read all l could on Lexus, they had a hard backed book in the dealer showroom that went into great detail of the evolution of the GS series cars as well as the others within the brand. Lexus has engineered their cars to have a service life from 500,000 to 1 million miles of road traveled. What they have done over the years to build a solid car is simply impressive. The dedication, attention to detail, even testing the powertrain until it glows red. The buying public thinks the brand separates itself from 0-60 mph, or 100mph-0 in braking performance or a slalom course. A Lexus separates itself from most competitors by the service life & the smoothness of how the car is fitted & works for many years. l would purchase a well taken care of Lexus GS300 & would not bat an eye.
My only caution is to review the up coming service record to see how much out of pocket will be the next bill. Lexus service is not cheap. Cheers.

try to talk them down to about 7500 because of the mileage, other than that it sounds like a great car, and it will make it to 300,000 miles as long as you maintain it

this is a very good price but really bad milage.

This care is only around 7 years old & already has over 100,000 miles thats alot the driver whod drove this car really drove it hhehe.

Great price though but l would watch out because it is honestly SO USED on the Road.'

But is would not worry Lexus' r truly reliable cars

My lexus dealr in my city has the very first Lexus LS that came up over 400,000 miles on it & it drives like it was still new!!! =]
