Is it possible to put a trailer hitch on a Lexus RX300? Is this a do it yourself project or will l need to have it done?

Trailer hitches an be a DIY project if you have the right tools. They mount to pre-drilled holes in the frame. You will also need a wiring harness installed since your RX did not come with a hitch from the factory. You can get one installed at your local Lexus dealer.
My dad was going to get one for our RX350 but it was $480.
So, he just decided to buy a cheaper one that was still good and he installed it himself.
It is pretty easy he finished in 30 min.
