l would like to know whats da difference between these years for the model of the car... im looking into buying a IS300 but im trying to figure out what year to yet if it matters

the 01-05 Lexus IS 300 (JCE10) has the same body for the whole run (except the optional L-Tuned body kit). The only differences are the paint colors and option packages.
01 was automatic/ e-shift only
02-05 had optional 5-speed manual, optional navigation

the sport design package offered different color options interior and exterior as well as different wheels, front grill, exahust finisher, and special badging.
