1993 Lexus GS300, 178000 miles, $2700, leak in exhaust, runs well. l love this model bu tnot to crazy about the miles. l dont mind getting exhaust fixed.

the ironic thing is that lexus' r crappy toyota is ( l say ironic because they're double the price). l am suprised it made it that far. In this economy l would buy an actual toyota with double the miles & double the age any day over a crappy lexus. Furthermore, whenever anybody looks at an old luxury car they think that person is trying to hard. For some reason old luxury cars have the same stigma as somebody blasting sub par rap albums that r not popular anymore. Everybody I've ever known to own an older luxury car is made fun of for it & is corny.

urk, that is iffy. Lots of miles, but expensive brand. Does not seem too cheap to me. l would do a background check on it, or even see if the seller is willing to get one on it. Be careful. Also, see if you can get a 30 day or so guarantee. l think If you are going to get it, take $2300 cash in and lay it in front of their face and say that is what you will give. Good Luck!

15 year old car, high mileage, probably some underbody, or body, rust. and still $2700. l love Lexus, but l would not put that into something with tha many miles, especially not knowing the maintenance history. Like one poster said, give x-number of dollars cash and say ''take it or leave it.'' l would not above $2000.

This car could well go 300k miles if proper maintenance was performed. l would be a little leary of it being just an exhaust leak. If it is a leak at the manifold, that is big bucks. It is not likely a hole that finally rusted out as l believe it has stainless steel exhaust. l would not be concerned about the mileage, the 3.0 6cylinder is an extremely tough motor. The car as a whole is built really well, & it is a fair enough price. If u will have some money set aside that u can spend on inevitable repairs (it is a 15 yr old car), l say go for it.

sounds like a piece of junk to me-sorry but l would not even consider owning that.
