depends on what model
but right now lexus
mercedes when l get older.

The Lexus has much better reliability. In the recent Consumer Reports annual survey, out of 36 car brands, Lexus was 6th from the top, and Mercedes was 4th from the bottom. Personally, l like to stay out of my dealer is shop as much as possible. l own a Lexus GS 460. Although l think Mercedes look good and ride good, l place a lot of value on reliability and build quality.

The only mercedes l would look at would be the AMGs..

Lexus is nice, but there are not made to be particularly fast lol

its all depend what do you like..
if you like sporty. go for the Mercedes convertible.. they are really cool. l love it..
if you want nice reliable car . go for Lexus.. l like LX470.

It really depends on ur budget & what kind of car u want. Overall, l would prefer Mercedes over Lexus if l had the money. l currently drive a 1997 SC400 & completely love it, but if l had the money, l would not mind a CLK63 AMG Black Series. If u want a well made reliable car for daily driving or weekend cruising, Lexus has many great options including the new IS, GS, & SC models. If like to tackle corners, the IS-F is pretty good especially since it is the first true performance Lexus, but Mercedes has a bit of an edge with many models in their lineup albeit they're a little more expensive.
