l have a 1999 Lexus GS 400....l wanna know what tweaks or modifications l should do to my car so that It can take Hydrogen...l wanna know what devices l should switch out so that it all works seamlessly.

And l understand all the hoopla about hydrogen being very explosive and how it takes a lot of energy to create hydrogen (at least by advertised methods i.e. Stan Meyers).

But l just wanna know what devices or modifications l would need to make.

Wo not happen with tweaks and modifications, unless you are a mechanical and chemical engineer. Keep dreaming about lower fuel prices or get a Prius.

Is not worth it with the current technology. One challenge is the leakage from the tank. l like placing water on a bag made out of cloth. BMW has that issue. Another one is the tank itself weights so much because it has to be a pressure vessel & it has to sustain a mechanical impact or u will be a rolling bomb. Another issue is cryogenics. Is highly cold liquid, so the biggest problem is servicing (how r u going to put it on the tank). The mods on the car r not that many. Is the logistics on how to use it.

Hydrogen gas alone is not enough to take u anywhere. One of the ideas is attaching the Hydrogen to a fluid so it will be as easy as placing gasoline in ur tank. That is one of the reasons Fuel Cell technology is getting more attention. Is possible to get the Hydrogen from the water & get an electric charge so it can be use to propel the vehicle.

The problem is, we need energy & lots of it. So that is why is not really a perfected method yet. It needs to breakdown the water, pass the Hydrogen through a membrane & get an electric charge all on its own. If u force it, u need energy to do that, therefore taping on the useful energy to make more energy. No a good idea.


A piston engine is not the best one, in another hand a Wankel Engine is best since does not have any valves that can get hot like a glow plug.

Just be patience, get rid of that old overpriced Toyota & get u another car, like a Corolla if u like Toyota that much. You can put leather seats, a Garmin, gold trimming, fake wood panels with & L on the grill, & there u have it.

it wont happen for you because youll blow every one around you up. its the same thing they dropped in japan during ww2 and killed a lot (and l mean a lot) of people. you want to be just a shadow or die because you cannot wait for a person to come out with it.
