ok, today my car windows just stopped working, the elictric seats aswell. my friend told me to look at the master switch, but l dont know were to look. he cant take a look at it, cause hes not in my state. and before l spend alot of money on a mechanic, l wanted to ask anyone if theres something l can do about it.
i have a 1992 lexus es300.
and if l cant seem to make it work, can you tell me how much a mechanic should charge. im a woman, and l dont want them to take advantage of me, please help me thank you. l really need to fix it.
what fuse would that be, l did check that but didnt find anything under windows

the master switch is the one the driver uses to control the window. it sounds more like a fuse blew out. check those first. your owners manual will have a good picture and guide to find that.

i couldnt tell you which fuse without seeing it myself or a manual. your owers manual should say which fuse controls the window or seats.

The master switch is located on your driver is side door panel. It is the switch that controls the locks, and windows.
l do not have an electical wiring diagram memorized, but if you take your vehicle to a dealership they should charge you a diagnostic fee of one labor hour. There is so many things that have to be ruled out before you know for sure what it is.
