What is the difference between the front wheel drive and the all wheel drive? Would the front wheel drive still be good in the snow since it is an SUV and a pretty heavy car?

Your truck is rear-wheel drive but yes all-wheel drive cars are a lot better for snowy weather.

The RX350 is a front wheel drive vehicle, with the opition of all wheel drive. All wheel drive is much better for driving in the snow. heavyness doesnt matter. Typically vehicles that r front wheel drive get better traction because the engine & transmission r on the drive wheels so they get better traction than say a truck because trucks r rear wheel drive & unless the bed of the truck has a lot of weight on it it will not get as much traction in the snow as a front wheel drive vehicle. both r pretty good in the snow, obviously the awd is better, but l would suggest those nice touring tires we put on them r not so good for severe winters. Another difference is that the AWD option also brings u into purchasing the premium Mark Levinson audio & NAV unit as a package, which is a really nice system but pricey (plus the standard pioneer audio is great too).

also the fwd version gets slighty (very slighty) better mpg due to weight.

Front Wheel is always better than Rear Wheel.
When it comes to snow, a Front Wheel minivan or compact car is better than a Rear Wheel (4x4 not activated) SUV or truck.

But an RX350 is either Front or All Wheel so you should not have a problem in the snow.
