it sounds like something is clunking in the trunk. If you had this problem what was it and how did you get it fixed. I am having this problem with my lexus and l have tried to figure out where this noise is comming from. lemptied the trunk, spare tire and all and l still can hear this clunking noise. It happens mostly when l roll over small bumps in the road. Please help!

Sound like your rear struts are worn and is now emitting an audible knocking sound. Take it to a shop to help diagnos this problem for you.

It could be suspension parts. On older cars bushings on suspension parts tear and wear and if not replaced it will be metal to metal. Or it could be your rear differental. l would take it to your mechanic or l really suggest taking it to your local Lexus dealership. They have ASE Certified and Lexus Certified Techs that know your car inside and out.
