How many types are there for the Lexus is300?

l know there is a Base type and a Sports type.. is there more or that it?

Is the sports type come in 6speed transmission?

How much horse power does both types have?

and was the is300 made from the year 1997 or 1999?

ive search on carsoup + autotrader and only found 5spd manuals.... l want a 6spd... do they even make a 6spd?

There is the basic and the sport, the only difference being in the level of trim. The engine is the same 3.0 straight 6.

The only other option was the station wagon version.

It came standard with 6 speed manual transmission on the basic models.

they dont make a 6spd IS300...
you want 6spd? you swap the supra is v160 getrag but that will set you back more then what your whole car is worth... easily a $15-20K job... and it would be kinda pointless to have that with no turbo... so either go NA-T with built internals or with gte block.. or swap in the 2jzge-non vvti, or go all out with 2jzgte non-vvti.

IS300 was made 2001-2006 and you could just get one with the 5spd manual, l drove one very nice...
