l was wondering how to program the keyless entry remote for a 1999 Lexus ES300? Ive looked in the manual and nothing. Please serious responses only.Thanks!!
It does have a security system with keyless entry. The car is not to old. My friend 90 cadillac has a factory keyless.

Well My mom had this car back in 1999, and l remember her trying to do this she tried it but it did not work for so she bought new batteries and went to LEXUS where they did it for free.

TIP: Attach your new remote to your old key and if the car is still under warranty, it is a covered item. Just say '' l do not know, my remote wont work''

If the vehicle manual does not give that information, then you will likely have to go to the dealer. Most dealers will likely do it for free.they want you to be willing to come back when you have a more major problem.

Coming from a Lexus dealer for the last 5 years it usually is not free. Expect $40-50 for the service. Change the battery first. If it does not work google it and see what you can come up with. Unfortunately l am not at work, so dont have access to my computer to tell you or l would. l can tell you it is a very weird program in a sequence of 5-6 things.

It is too old, and does not use a keyless entry remote. If you mean a remote for unlocking your car, go to the dealership. IT requires some programming.
