and the trac light stays on.. what would be the obvious problem, and how much would it cost fix it if there was a serious problem??the car runs great for havin 120 on the dash, and it never stalls and l keep it oiled good.

l agree, it could be just a bad sensor. The trac light on my LS400 would come on and off all the time for no reason, more so when it was cold. Lexus dealership told me it happened alot with the 400's.

Check the trac relay just in front of the battery under the air cleaner intake, behind driver headlight. Repair the relay, (bad connection). put it back in and whola.. No more trac light..

The trac ecu is telling you there is something wrong with your traction control system. Take your vehicle to a Lexus
Dealership where they have the right tools and knowledge to diagnose it. (Hint- you can not just plug in a hand held diagnostic computer and retrieve codes.)

l just had that problem l did a lift on the rear shocks and it cuz to have that light on and l took them off and l changed all shocks and there is more to it then shocks l just need to know more info and if ur around new jersey l can even help u more then that my email is mike_mike926.com
