Regular financing = u pay for the entire car in monthly payments over a fixed term. At the end of the term, the car title is yours.

Balloon financing = u pay for SOME of the car in monthly payments over a fixed term. At the end, u have the option to pay the balance in full (which is a huge amount), give back the car (just as in a lease - but u need to carefully READ the contract; they can switch this to a pay-in-full clause) or finance the remainder & continue making monthly payments (of a different amount now).

Essentially, balloon financing is a way to lease a car & circumvent the tax burden placed on leases in states like Texas. If u do not live in Texas or another lease-unfriendly state, this is not relevant to u & u should look into leasing. l will warn u that leasing a Lexus is one of the worst things u could possibly do. They have very low residual values & extremely high residuals. Short of u being the CEO of Toyota, you'd be better off buying the vehicle.

No, they do not offer balloon financing. l can tell you from personal experience that Lexus is currently offering 3.9% on Certified Pre Owned cars,though, with 5 year terms. l just bought a 2005 Lexus LS430. So far (1 week later) and it is the best car I've ever owned.
