the 328 would be good for gas not the 335

Edit: You say the 3 series..well what do you mean? The sedan? coupe? what engine? diesel? gas?

Actually falling economy = ''Low'' gas prices. Most likey the world economy will send gasoline below the $2.00 range. one where most SUVs r bought.

l think a Lexus will hold it is value the most. Not so if the economy rebounds & we get high gas prices again.

As far as resale, the BMW is at the end of it is 'style' production in 06, where the Lexus is at the beginning of it is 'style' production in 04. Therefore the Lexus would have the better resale if all other things were equal. BMW, sounds more sporty & Lexus sounds more expensive from a social view.

You know gas has been plummeting right? Like it is down to where it was around the time Katrina hit?

Also, both of those are rediculously stupid cars to get, the mantinence is to high on them. Get an older Honda, Toyota, Chevy or Ford. The American cars may not be AS reliable, but they're far easier to work on yourself and parts are a dime a dozen.

How about both, that is, if you can afford them!!

BMW just because l grew around people with BMW's, and the smaller (engine) the BMW the less gas it will burn.
And can you afford the maintenance on BMW because the parts are not made in america?

Go Lexus.

BMW is so over done, l had a 325i and it was so expensive to fix that l sold it . sure it was fast and stuck to the road like white on rice but man, those shop rates were killer!

If its only between those two, do not get a BMW, l have a mini coop & they r partnered with BMW & l took my car to the BMW dealer to get some warranty work done & they said they would not fix the alignment under warranty because l had a dent in the wheel, so we paid 500 dollars for them to fix it. So later we go to the tire dealer in my town & they told us the alignment is still messed up & they could not find a dent in the wheel. BMW sucks, or maybe its just because l live in tx.
and they r VERY high maintenance, just get a girlfriend with a car. lol

most likely the best would be the lexus because it is front wheel drive and BMW is have alot of history of break downs, if you want a good reliable car get a lexus.
