but l have heard that raybestos will be similar, would it be alright to put raybestosrotors & brakes?

Save your money and go down to your local AutoZone, Kragen, PepBoys, Napa or some auto parts store. Your car is way past warranty..why still go to the dealer?

You have a Lexus, you should be able to afford the most expensive and best quality of a rotor and brakes in any auto parts store. Installation will costs you about $150 so that should save you still than going to the dealership.

Just my 2cents of course.

I've used Raybestos on my Accord and Integra before and they work okay. They have different grades of pads, so if you go middle of the road, you should be fine. Never had issues with dust noise, fade, or warping, and the prices are good.

Keep in mind, the Lexus OEM will fit perfectly. l bought a pair of Raybestos once that was painted a little bit too thick, so l had to shave the edges down slightly, so beware.
