Camry LE is standard. SE is the sport one.. with spoiler and body kit. XLE is the one with leather,

Lexus. ES is the upper class camry.. same motor just the body look different. IS is rear wheel drive. Smaller version of the GS. LS is the bigger one..

They're all good car.. Just depend which one you like..

LE stinks, unless you're a college student with no money & no game, because base do not cut it with the girls.

SE is the ''Sport Edition'' but saying the Camry is sporty is like saying Star Jones is now gorgeous.. just not gonna happen.

XLE is the suped up, fully loaded, Camry. loaded, but still bloated.

ES & IS r ur ''base'' Lexus models. Ai not no cheaper than these two. The ES is based on the Camry, which is front wheel drive & share the same powertrain (3.5 liter V6). The ES engine is tuned to produce a few extra horsepower, so it is not exactly the same as a Camry. The IS is rear wheel drive & is offered with a 2.5 & the 3.5 liter engines, with the 2.5 only one u can get AWD & a manual transmission. You can also get an IS-F which is ur M3 competitor, with a big V8 & 0-60 in about 4.3 seconds.

GS is offered with 3.5 liter V6 or 4.6 liter V8. With the V6 available with AWD.

LS is the flagship & only true Lexus in my book. It is just built differently & taken care of my Lexus better. It all comes with the 4.6 liter V8, or a V8 hybrid model. Now u can get standard, or long wheel base with AWD also for 2009. LS460L with AWD, nothing better in this world.

If you buy a Lexus over Camry, you are probably just paying more for luxury and status symbol, mechanically, the Camry is probably just as good

The LE is the base. SE is a sport with a 264 v6 and body kit. XLE has the v6 and its luxed up. Es is the cheapest and midsized. Is is just a little more expensive and sportier. Comes in RWD is 250 and is 300 and awd is 250. The GS is like a bme % series. it has a hybrid model too. Its about 50 to 60 thousand. The LS is the top of the line. It has an awd hundrend grand hybrid top model. a rwd extended base and normal base models too. 0-60 in 5.5-5.8 seconds.
