im wondering what you you pick if you were me....
i want either both car.i dont care what l get because l like them both.the only concern if l get lexus then the parts will be expensive then a maxima.and does the lexus last longer then maxima???

Sure does. Maxima trannies, and Nissan auto trannies in general, do not last long. My bud had his tranny fail at 90k in his 02 Maxi. Lexuses last 200k+ easily, like most Toyotas. The Maximas have a nicer interior, but l would rather have the more durable car for that much money. The Maxima trannies are expensive, too.

You definetly want the Lexus IS300, it is a superb car with a superb fit & finish. Not to mention it is rear-wheel drive, a true example of if you're a man or not. If u can find the 5-speed manual as well, even better (rarer though). This car will definetly retain its value, & the looks r pretty nice as well. This car has alot of potential & u will get the name plate recognition that Nissan is do not have enough of.

l like Nissan alot, but 2002-2003 was a turning point for Nissan & although the company was going through a rebirth, it used some low quality interior components to cut costs & pull itself up from the gutter. The Nissan is also front-wheel drive only & is a heavy car. It might have a tad more space than the Lexus, but u did not mention ur preferences on that

l would definately go with the lexus, it retains its value well plus it is a nicer care than the maxima, plus the lexus do not really have n e real major maintenance repairs that u should be concerned with. Just make sure u take care of the care and it will take care of u.

l like the maxima better it has more options than the lexus does the ES is really just a re-badged Camry. the Maxima is more on par with the GS 300. If you really like the ES300 then you can save some money and buy a Toyota Camry XLE v6.
