whenever l slowly release my foot off the brakes, there is a rubbing noise, especially when l first start driving the car. it only makes this noise when l slowly release the brake pedal and it doesnt make the noise during regular driving.

Probably just the disc brake pads rubbing against the rotors a bit as you lift your foot off the brakes,nothing to be concerned about.

There may be dirt trapped between the pads and the drum and maybe the pads have worn out. In my Montecarlo once, l had a trerrible grinding noise and there was debris between the pads and disc. l had to change the pads and clean the disc. Let the pros do this because maybe the breakline will also need to be bled and air taken out.

do not worry, this is normal for some models with anti-lock brakes.

Normal stuff,i sometimes make my car do that out of bordome in traffic.

Possibly just the sound from pumping. Maybe your other cars sounded different when you pumped them.

Same thing happens with my 2005 Lexus IS and my 2003 BMW 5 series. It usually happens after we wash the cars or something like that, but it happens. Its normal and it just means your brakes still have a lot of grip to them before you need to replace them.
