l am thinking of buying a 2001 SUV. So, tell me if Lexus is a reliable company or in this case if this car is good!

Well, you need to do your own research to determine wat ''good'' is. But, they take good care of their customers. Free loaner cars, lots of free food and drinks at the dealership - but you will pay for all of it through repairs, they're not cheap.

They are basically to toyota what cadillac is to gm. Very nice and excellent quality, but you will pay!

a Lexus is simply a glorified(& expensive) Toyota. Same company. So yes it would be a reliable car.

Lexus is among the highest rated brands in buyer satisfaction and reliability, as rated by J.D. Power, and Consumer Reports, and their owner loyalty (The 'would l buy another' question) is also very high.

The SUVs are like the cars, quiet, smooth, well made of high-quality materials, and good performing.

No one ever accused Lexus of being exciting (there will never be a Lexus 'Drivers' Club') but I'd bet that is not high on your list of priorities.

No do not get a Lex they suck and service sucks.If something goes wrong they will overcharge u,trust me.
