l plan to purchase the IS soon, and l was wondering if l can get some feedback on the vehicle..

well they r currently they r giving out compensation to customers who have their Lexus IS cars delivery delayed due to a recall that is going on
Lexus IS buyers who have their delivery delayed by a week or so have received iPod Nano 2GBs & XtremeMac Aux cables so they can hook up their new music machine to their cars.

well from what l heard the IS is a great car in many ways.. ti drives well, handles well, accelerates well & all.. only problem is if u like to drive it hard & push it to the limit it wo not let you.. u can not really turn off the stability control on that thing & the stability control in lexus vehicles is arguably too intrusive.. l think its too intrusive but then again most drivers do not push their cars so much.. by the way consider ur other options while u r at it.. the Acura TSX (a really fun to drive car, revs hard & handles really well) & BMW 3 series the benchmark..

we just traded-in the IS200 (limited edition) for the IS250 Luxury & r enjoying it. Have been eyeing the car since it was launched but it was not worthwhile to change it then ($$$).

My missus especially likes the memory seats & there is no need for her to rumble in her bag for the key. There is also the keyless ignition.

This car is slightly bigger than the IS200 but drives real smooth & overtakes effortlessly. You will enjoy the drive more if u just drive at a reasonable speed & not speed. There r also many features which make the IS250 a worthy buy.

The minuses (to me) is the foot brake as opposed to the usual hand brake which l sometimes forget to release.

Go for a test drive & then decide.

The back seats are minuscule and unforgivable for a sedan.

Consider the G35 Sedan -- Better in EVERY way!

IS is good it very fast and it look good too if you looking for a space in the car this is not the car for you.

l would get a Honda over that model car
