l am not going to bother & look up the legroom for you, but I've driven one for about a week. The whole car is cramped if u r around 6 foot. l am 5'8 so it was ok for me, but l dont think it has too much room for anyone else. In the driver seat there was something that takes up space near ur right leg, prob something from the tranny.

If you're looking into one, they seem fun to drive, but l think there r much better alternatives out there ( l am a Lexus fan btw). Test drive the new G35. You might want to wait a year for the 08 is to come out b/c they might put in the new 3.7 in those + they have time to fix the bugs.

Only thing l think u should know is that w/ the G you're sort of getting a compromise b/t Lexus & BMW. It wont be as comfortable as a Lexus or as sporty as a Bimmer. Its a great car to have though. Look into one.

Im 6' and l fit in them just fine, very comfortable. The back seat is a different story. Dont plan on having someone older than 10 to sit in the back seat for a long trip and be comfortable. But the driver and passenger seats have plently of room. l highly recomend the car.

l do not have the numbers for the IS, but l believe l read that legroom is measured from the brake pedal to the front/bottom (where back & seat meet) of the front seat, in the seats most furthest back position. Rear legroom is the back of the front seat, to the front/bottom of the back seat, with the front seat in it is most forward position.

This is the misleading part in that they r measuring ''MOST'' space with the front seat in it is most back, or most forward, depending on measuring back or front. legroom. This is not real life because u can not get those two numbers at the same time.

My wife drives one everyday. She is 5'11'' and loves the car. l am 6'1'' and l have plenty of room. Like they have said, the backseat is very cramped. l have had up to five people in the car but it was for a very short trip. Front seats are great, backseat leg room is cramped. l do not know how leg room is measured, sorry.
