l have to say ... l am not one to complain much ... l really try to work with people and try to be understanding (l have been dealing with the public for 25 years) ..... but ....

If you had purchased a Lexus .... and you were having a problem with the DEALERSHIP ...... there has got to be someone who takes care of the customers at the corporate level .... right?????

l have found the Lexus customer Service web site (Torrance, CA) ... but l wanna get my mail right to the person who will really take care of my issue with out getting passed around alot (l already have been passed around alot and been ignored at the dealership level!).... you know?

got any ideas?

( l live in California )

maybe you also have a story to tell ... really appreciate your thoughts ....

l have to say that l have owned 3 Lexus cars (all purchased from Lexus dealers) & they r VERY serious about customer service, so l am surprised.

l would raise my complaint(s) in the following order:
Sales/Service Rep
Sales/Service Manager
General Manager
Dealership Owner
Lexus USA Regional Rep (they usually visit the dealership once a week or so) the dealer should provide this contact to you.
Lexus USA Regional Manager
Lexus USA HQ (Torrance CA) 800-255-3987
e-mail link:http://lexus2.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/lexus2.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php

Please keep in mind that Lexus dealers r INDEPENDENT businesses, meaning that Lexus of US has little impact on local decisions (they dont own the dealer, they only SELL them a product).

Good luck

The person u want is the local Franchise/Manufacturer Rep. You might of seen sometimes a car with a REP license plate. This is the boss, supervisor between the Manufacturer & the dealership. He tells the dealership what to do, how to do things, etc. He is also the mediator when an issue arrives.

These guys r always on the road from dealer to dealer, so do not expect to find him in an office. Call up another Lexus dealership & ask for their Rep is phone number. Call him & see if he is the Rep for the dealership u have an issue with. If not, he can hand u off to who is.
