once again like ur other question, hopefully that other lexus fanatic does not answer, l would take the lincoln. if he says crap about how the rx350 is better, he is fricking retarted. the mkx does have a 5 star safety rating, has cool swivel lights that when u turn a corner they swivel so u can see around the corner, it has a keyless entry, very nice interior, & is more unique tha a lexus. l would take any american car over a japanese, but i'm not saying japanese cars suck either.

l love Lexus RX350 and was trying hard to persuade my boyfriend to change. But he still like his BMW more.. no choice.

The MK X is way nicer.

I've owned an RX-300 for 7 years & 60,000 & it has NEVER, EVER needed a repair..

I've driven the MKX, & it certainly is a nice riding car..BUT, the quality of the interior materials simply does not match the Lexus.

l am always a bit nervous of buying the first production year of a vehicle too. If u read the reviews at edmunds.com, they mention the brakes being subpar, & l agree.. & if there is anything that is important to me..it is STOPPING!

So they r both excellent products, & each will have it is fans & detractors..Depreciation is very poor on American vehicles vs Japanese products in general, if that is a consideration..

If l were u I'd drive both & decide for yourself..

Personally l think the MKX is fugly. Maybe it will grow on me. l thought the Infiniti FX was pretty bad too, but now it is somewhat decent looking.

Anyways I'd much rather have the Lexus & so will tens of thousands of other people. I'd put money on the fact that the RX will outsell the MKX ATLEAST by 3 to 1.

Lincoln is the lowest of luxury brands. Lower than Cadillac & Acura. Lincolns r as luxurious as a nice Chrysler.

Lincoln vs Lexus is like Toyota/Honda vs Hyundai/Kia

Hyundais & Kias probably offer more for ur money than a Toyota or Honda. But honestly it is really no comparison, Toyota & Honda r better cars. Same with Lincoln. Lincoln gives u more for the money than Lexus, but it is only quite obvious that Lexus is the better brand.
