well, beefing up the induction on an engine is good.and as long as the turbos will not blow the intake gaskets off . this is a main concern. & the fuel & air mixture will be all different. u can add fuel to it,and the engine,with over 100,000 miles a riskey thing.. if u want to keep the car & engine around fora while,leave it at factor specs. it will live a lot longer,in most cases,and u just can not slam on a pair of turbos,the exhaust system will have to be most likely ,all be replaced..

If you're talking about a Lexus SC, I'd do a 2JZ-GTE (Supra motor) swap, mod it, and beef up the internals.

Yes, but why would you?
If u have a kit that someone is giving you, that has all of the right stuff. Otherwise why would u look at twin turbos?
You can build more than enough boost with a single turbo system, plus to get any real benefit u will need to upgrade ur fuel system, injectors, fuel pump pressure, possibly larger fuel rails etc. Not to mention what u will need to do to the intake system, air mass sensor, fuel mapping etc.
It gets pricey fast if u want something that will really run well & reliably.
