It is long, but if you take a look at my links it is pretty obvous that the ES is better.

My answer was rated badly by someone but l think one should read my entire answer then decide.l do not think the people in that question ratefairly.

Seriously, why would anyone like the MKZ. Everyone that says the MKZ is better have their facts all wrong.The MKZ is not safer.According to Consumer Reports, the Lexus is more reliable AND safer than the MKZ.Of course you're just going to say Consumer Reports is biased, or that Consumer Reports hates American cars.No matter what, even in th face of contrary evidence, you are always going to say the MKZ is better.

ME TOO!Why would anyone choose a Lincoln over a Lexus.Lexus is so much more reliable.For all the people out there that says the Lexus reliability is falling, they have no proof of that.Even if it is, there are certain trends.According to Consumer Reports, Lexus reliability is just as good if not better than before. Also, why blame them if the reliability is falling.Their sales has gone so high, it is a miracle that they are still so reliable, and with all that new technology and electronics.What I am saying (also what Consumer Reports show) is that Lincoln is will never be as reliable as any Lexus.Besides reliability, Lexus has many features that are years in front of Lincoln.Just click my first link and read my answer to Bidbuck16 is question.

l would have to agree with you on that. l personally think lexusus are more luxurious than lincoln's.Lincoln is als to me are old people cars.One reason l know the lexus ES350 is better than the licoln because l have a rich Ucle and aunt and they have both of those cars and l liked being in the lxus more than the licoln

The Lincoln is a better value, peroid! The Lexus is over rated, over priced, under performs, requires premium gas, has a problem trans. Thats why USA today picked the Lincoln over the Lexus. And JD powers picked the Lincoln navigation system as the best in market. And never mind that the Lexus has no AWD option. If u do not believe me, like all doubters, go to edmunds.com & look under forums for ES problems.
Maybe it is time we start buying Amercian & stop kissing jap ass.

it should be noted that the one & only complaint about the MKZ is about a report that the consumer read ! Did not have any problems, concerns, issues, repairs, abnormalties, etc!

the lexus, dont buy american.

l would take the mkz because theel xus looks just like all its sedan cousins in interior & exterior. the mkz is smoother & quieter & has a great sound system. it won an award for best interior in class & is safer than the es 350. yes the es 350 has more horsepower, torque, & more gadgets, but u not even going to use all that horsepower & torque unless you're into street racing, or all the useless gadgets the japanese put in all their cars that look impressive, but when u buy one u will never use. the mkz is a unique car & l would take it over the es 350 anyday.

l told you MKZ all day.

The Zephyr name was not changed because it was selling poor it was actually doing good.They just wanted the alphabet names to fit in with other cars and boost sales.The first full year of the Zephyr/MKZ it sold 36,000 which isnt great but good enough.The MKZ does'nt even use the zephyr engine neither which you probably know.It has the 263 hp engine that runs on regular unlike the ES 350.MKZ all day.

l am amazed at how many people here like Lincolns! The MKZ is a Lincoln Zephyr, which did not sell very well last year, so Lincoln rebadged it as an MKZ. l do not think the Lincoln MKZ is a world class car. It is a huge improvement over the Lincoln LS, which it replaced.

The Lexus ES350 is considered by auto experts as a world class automobile. Lexus has a reputation for building high quality, reliable, safe, quiet, smooth, comfortable, long lasting luxury vehicles. Next time you're driving, count how many 10 year old Lexus cars r on the road vs Lincolns. Try 15 year old cars. This is a testament that Lexus does build a solid, long lasting car.

Is the Lexus ES350 the best entry level luxury sedan on the market? Based on people who buy these cars, I'd say that the ES350 fits their needs better than any other car available.

We all know the ES350 much better than the MKZ. Do not stress yourself out over this forum. In the end u wo not be able to change anyone is opinion on what car they like. Let them like their Lincolns. Just have the satisfaction of knowing that ur Lexus wo not leave u stranded on the side of the road & is faster than any Lincoln in production today. Not to mention a richer looking interior & award winning dealership service. BTW it is not only Consumer Reports that rate Lexus #1 in reliabuilitity, also look at JD Power. Lexus has ranked #1 in their dependabuility study every year since they have been eligible.

Hey me personally l would go for the Lexus because its made by Toyota & Toyota is the best made brand in the world this is kinda like comparing apples to tangerines when u should be comparing it to oranges hey l kinda like the look of the Lincoln but l like Lexus a whole much better & it will last u a lot longer hope u find the right car that fits you. Lincoln r made by Fords Fords suck Lincolns dont have as many gadgets as the Lexus & the Lexus r the best made vars in the world well l hope u find ur car
