l do not know why l feel so nervous but everyone assures me that Lexus are good cars.l am in the process of seriously considering buying a 2002 ES300 (fully loaded with Navi and everything) and it has 62K miles.Do you think this is a good/bad buy and why.THANKS!

it depends. look for the maintenance history and current price market.

its a gorgeous car and like any lexus, it will give you 100k is miles of great service. check the price at kbb.com and edmunds. compare ,shop around. make sure you check car fax too.

before you buy get the vin number and go to a lexus dealer to run the service records for you. this should be free, but if you have to pay, it is worth every penny.

While l agree that Lexus' r good cars. It would depend on the price. The assumption is that (if it is in excellent condition) u have anywhere from 38K to 88K miles left on the car (you will have to put money in the car to keep it going).

By the way, the reason u feel nervous is that almost all auto purchases r done through emotions & not through RATIONAL, LOGICAL & MATHEMATICAL thought (myself included). Make sure you're not overlooking the obvious ''issues'' with the car just to drive a Lexus. -Good Luck.

this car is just getting broke in with 60000 miles. if it looks like it has been well maintained have your mechanic inspect it .if the price is right and the car is sound (being a Toyota product-well made)
