l am the president, & owner of a corporation. You r asking an awful lot of ur company. The only people l know of, that gets this type of vehicle is executives, & top salespeople. First; most companies do not purchase these vehicles, but lease them, & since a Lexus is a top of the line vehicle, it carries with it a heafty price tag even with a lease. When a company leases a vehicle, the person its leased for is not usually restricted to what purposes it is used for, but mileage on the vehicle does in fact become a concern. Unless u r buddies with the CFO of the company, l am pretty sure u r not going to get ur wishes. The type of vehicle, & its use is usually determined by the value of the employee to the company. Most CFO is r governed by the budget set forth. When a company leases a vehicle, they r still restricted to the amount of miles one puts on the vehicle, & must show this on their expense report. Non business trips, fuel, & wear & tear on the vehicle must be accounted for. This is why the accounting department is always after u for reciepts for everything. When the lease is up on a vehicle there r options a company has. The company can either purchase the vehicle, or pay the last payment on the lease, return the vehicle, & pay extra for the mileage that is outside the agreement on the lease. This can sometimes run into a lot of money, & this rings true when an employee uses the vehicle for personal use. l would think some personal use u can get away with, but to put a lot of miles on the vehicle, & have no documentation that can be justified to the IRS as company use might be a hard sell. Unless u r a high ranking executive with the company, l would say u r out of luck. If a deal like this is in ur contract with the company, then u will be safe, but if not, u might as well go get the Ford that all the others have to drive. l can tell you; if l had an employee who did what u r wanting to do, l would be looking elsewhere for ur replacement. Like l stated before; unless u r an high ranking executive with the company, & this is part of ur incentive package, then l would forget the Lexus.
Glad to help out, Good luck!!!
