l got a quick question Im in the market to purchase a toyota supra twin turbo MK4, how much would it cost me to take a stock twin turbo and boost it to nearly 650hp!, l have been approved for 25k which is around the price for a nice stock twin turbo MK4 93-98. l also was looking into the Sc300 and am trying to get a bit of history on the both of them since they do kind of share the same engine in its years comparison. l wanna at least get the sc300 or the twin supra.Im tired of my 350z and am wanting more power and also a classic well known respectful vehicle such as the supra and sc300 and also LOL the 2JZ-GTE engine which is awesome. The only reason l ask about the SC is because if l am unable to find a supra l would likely wanna go with the SC. l have done a bit of research and have seen the regular sc300 engine with turbos and also the 2JZ-GTE swap in them. Please people help me out on this!!! l need to make a decision soon. l have been looking in autotrader.com and ebaymotors.com

SUPRA !!! No Lexus man, the SC is played out and much heavier. l should not have to tell you this, spend the money and get the real thing..

Forget the guy who was dissing the SC, he has obviously NEVER driven one. As an SC AND Supra owner l can tell u one thing, u wo not go wrong with either car. Both cars feel the same in stock form as far as handling goes. Obviously the TT supra will be faster out of the box but that is beside the point. The SC300/400 is basically what a G37 is to a 350Z. It has ALOT less rattles inside & it feels like a luxury car should. For 25k do not expect to buy anything low miles/excellent condition if ur aim is the Supra because these cars retain value like no other & u probably already knew that. If u do get the Supra, get the 6spd, that way u wo not have to worry about replacing the tranny if ur goal is 650hp.

On another note, nobody can tell u how much it would cost to make that much power, but be prepared to spend a ton of money because parts r not cheap at all. You will want a turbo bigger then T67 for those numbers, u will need a different clutch to hold the torque such as RPS, etc. Anyways, depending on ur setup & what kit u get, the price would differ. Good luck with ur choice- & to the guy who said the SC is much heavier, he is on crack because both cars weight about the same.

Well the previous guys are telling you in a nutshell that Lexsucks is a glorified Toyota. So get the Supra is the same crap for less.
