In short, it is their top model and they put everything they could into it. If l were for Lexus, I'd prefer their top of the line LS.

Well, u r comparing Acura is flagship sedan to Lexus' entry midsize sedan. The Acura has AWD & more power & more gadgets since it is their latest RL. The Lexus is FWD has less ponnies, & probably does not match up in technology because Lexus would redesign the ES in 2007. It would make alot more sense to look at the 07+ ES because that would have the new design, new engine & everything up to date, but those models have been dealing with ecu & transmission issues so that would not be the best choice in either case.

Try comparing the LS430/LS460 or even the GS model because those r the real winners & it would not even be a hard decision to make because those r just superior to anything acura offers.

Lexus all the way. The reliability of Lexus is off the charts and the RL sales have declined greatly meaning Acura may not continue the model. l love the smooth quite ride of the Lexus. BUT if you want sporty than the RL of course. It depends on your needs either way you are making a smart choice.
