You can buy lots of low mileage cars below blue book, but remember that when u buy cheap, u get cheap.

l am in the auto industry & in this day & age, there r no ''give-aways''. Why would someone sell a perfectly good car for ''way below blue book''? You're assuming that they do not know what they're doing, because blue book is now available to everyone on the internet (kbb.com). l think the question u should ask yourself is why? Why r they selling the car so cheap? Whats wrong with this car? Do these people know so little about the resale value? Do these people care that they're not getting full value for their car?

If u buy a bad car (dirty title, multiple owners, warranty return, lemon law, salvage title, out of state problem car, accident car, auction car, etc) you're going to have to dump it on someone else after u find out it is a junker. How will u feel knowing that u took advantage of someone?

My recommendation is to look for a good lease return vehicle that Lexus has certified. Pay the extra money, so u feel confident that you're buying a great car. Think about how good it will feel, knowing that u have a car that is good enough to be certified by Lexus!
