what are your thoughts on the lexus sc300?

l always answer questions like this by saying '' depends on how much you spend on it.'' Meaning even a ford 90 ford escourt is a good buy for $100. In general the SC300 is a great car, reliable, sporty etc. but it is a glorified camry solara.

l have always thought that a Lexus is over rated. Just a high priced Toyota.

Well, it is not as good as the SC 400, but it is a very nice car. It is one of my favorite Lexus' of all time.

l know every body says its an over priced camry solara conv but here is thhe good parts:a v8 engine which means the car will last longer rear wheel drive means that you can do all forms of motor sports
so get it its much beeter than any camry

Overall the car is very good. You dont see a whole lot of problems from that car. The motor is very reliable, provided that you take care of the matinence. As well as the transmission.

Alright, contrary to what is been said, two things must be pointed out:

1. The SC300 does not have a V8 engine. That is the SC400. The SC300 has a 3.0L I-6 engine.

2. The SC300 is not a glorified Camry/Camry Solara. The Solara and regular Camry have a V6 engine, while the SC300 has an Inline-6 which is shared with the Toyota Supra.
