The 1993 Lexus GS300 has the 2JZ-GE engine which is the same Inline-6 motor found in the NA Toyota Supra MKIV. That beign said, it puts out roughly 225 horsepower at the crank & about 215 torque. That is not much for a car that weights 3500+ pounds. l have driven it & honestly it is not that quick. It should however get u 0-60 in under 8 seconds. Top speed is rated at about 140mph. However, the one advantage this car has over the other is is its bullet proof engine. The stock block can hold over 900hp & is very easy to turbo. The only drawback would be needing to replace the transmission to hold the extra power. l would reccomend the 6 speed V160 Getrag found in the TT Supra (can hold 1200+hp), a TH400 (1000+hp), or the 5spd R154 found in either the MKII l Supra/ 2gen Soarer(600-700hp). This car can truely be made into a wolf in sheep is skin with enough work.

As far as fuel economy, u can average over 25 highway on the stock drivetrain, but as with any other car, the way u drive it will have a huge impact on what ur MPG is would be.

try lexus gs 430 and l can top it under about 15 to 20 seconds _ bone stock

fast is a relative term. To me? No. But if you're comparing it to, say, a ford transit van, yes. MPG is in the high teens and low twenties. not too good, but not too bad.
