The new lexus ls 460l has the new advanced parking guidance system,by denso, but when l went to the showroom and test the feature, the lexus knock onto the car beside. l heard that the new mercedes cl and s will also have the new advanced parking guidance system but as a option.

Will the feature in the mercedes be manufactured by bosch?

More than likely it will be bosch. the Lex will be better slightly over the other one just because they already had it a year they should improve with time but If you just have to have the fetcher then get the lex

The S65 is a way better car. l cant see buying a car because of the park feature. Waste of $$.

MB is the way to go. A Mercedes Benz-Wannabe-Toyota is not even good looking. Those cars has no personality and they all trying to copy the Euro looks, like Infiniti looks like a BMW. l would buy the real deal and let the feeble minded people pretend to drive a Benz by buying an overprice Toyota. l have not seen one going as a classic like a Benz does.

Contrary to what Spamme4444 says, Mercedes r crap. My parents have had four of them- one E Class & three S Class models ( all bought new). The only good ones r the pre-1995 models. l also have to friends that r Mercedes techs at different dealerships. Both say nothing but bad things about their reliability. Mercedes even admits to the quality problems with their cars & they r working to rectify those issues. Essentially, you're paying for the name right now.

Lexus r great cars. l have to admit however that they look like they r copying Mercedes in design & their differences make them look even more boring than Mercedes. Nonetheless, they r the most reliable luxury sedans with the best build quality of any of them. Heck, this 18 year old luxury marque has been setting the standards in luxury cars since the early 90's. BMW & Mercedes r essentially using Lexus as the standard to match & surpass, but to no avail.

Funny thing is that most of the Japanese brands started out copying Mercedes in engine design. Now with Mercedes declining so much in quality & falling behind in technology for so many years, they have been rushing to be as high tech & r failing at it. 300K trouble-free miles on a Lexus is common. Old Mercedes r like that as well. You will be lucky to get 100K miles without problems on newer ones. About the parking guidance system, Mercedes will probably use a similar system from Bosch as well. How well will it work? Not sure, but if u had the problem on the Lexus, many others probably have too. That only means that Lexus is already looking into improving the system. They thrive for perfection & it shows. wait a while & test drive one again next year.
