The Land Cruiser has the same engine as the GX470 & LX470 4.7L. l believe it is the sister to the LX. Lexus is Toyotas luxury line.

Yes the LX series looks really similar to the Toyota Land cruisers. l am not sure about the new ones, but the older ones do.

The one l did has a hefty price of $70,457. If u build & price the Lexus LX 470, the price comes to $74,952. So if u have an exra 4 grand to soend, u get better color options & u get ''noticed'' because u have a Lexus over an ''average'' Toyota.

Lexus first year for a large SUV was nothing more than taking the Toyota Land Cruiser and dressing it up some. Was released as the Lexus LX450. It lasted 2 years and then Lexus stepped up and made their own version which was named the Lexus LX470.
