It is overpriced and will be worth less than 50% of what it is today in just 4 years. Terrible waste of money. Drive cheap and give your xtra money to charity. Your life will be richer than throwing it away on a luxury car that costs more than most families earn in a year.

l echo the comments of the above poster. Complete and utter waste of money, not to mention the fact that most people driving these types of vehicles are heavily in debt, have underfunded 401k plans and no idea how to pay for their kid is college educations (recent Fidelity article). The only people that they fool are themselves.
Those who pursue material wealth are simple. But those who lead simple lives are wealthy with knowledge :-)

l am also gonna have to agree with the above people. It is fun to drive, but is it really worth it. If u can afford it without going into debt, go for it. If it borders what u can afford do not buy or lease it. Get something a little cheaper, if u buy a cheaper car u can get it fully loaded.

l think it is a great car and Lexus does not depreciate that fast. The 1998 LX470 is still $35,000. l think that the few changes they made on it from the previous year add to it is style. If you can, buy the car and l am positive you will have no problems with it

'As l read the comments from most people, l hear the jealousy in the words. Who can judge what people have saved,or earn? l just purchased the es350 & will tell u the car is fantastic. How l pay for it is really no ones business. But no one is suffering because of it. The Lexus is of course a product of Toyota & is much more than a ''hopped up'' Camry. It will give its owner years of faithful service & is the only Toyota product that Americans can buy that is still built entirely in the Japanese home factories. Do not knock someone else is ability to enjoy something nice, just because its not in ur power to be able to do it. Sour grapes all over again,.
