dude the dealer is raping u like none other ur ''hood struts'' only cost $66 a piece l could seriously put each one on in 3 minutes theyd be charging for like 3 1/2 hours of work. I'd charge $200 parts & labor. first off put a rod under the hood to support it, make sure its stable. take a flathead screwdriver where the shock mounts to the hood, on the side of the shock mount youll see the clip pop it out. pull the shock away. at the back of the hood on the inner fender unbolt the bottom shock mount & its off. to put it back on, bolt the bottom mount. the upper mount line the ball mount up with the hole on the shock & give it a whack & it should pop on. & ur done.
