You should buy a camry because it is the Motor Trend 2007 car of the year and it has very good reviews.

so you ONLY want reasons to buy the Lexus....seems like you already have plenty of reasons why NOT to.

Both do have the same 3.5 liter v6 engine. You are paying for the brand, looks, and ego in the end.

same reason why l drive a gx470 instead of a 4runner ltd. because l can.

Hey, knock yourself out. If you feel like you have to ''justify'' the extra $10,000, then the Lexus is definitely the car for your over inflated ego. Image is everything, common sense is nothing!

l will be very honest & u decide if u helps in ur decision.

First of all, those who can sit at their keyboards & say they r the same vehicles r just not car savvy. Come winter, spring, summer or fall, a Lexus is still a Lexus, inspite of being produced by the same manufacturer.

Lexus has managed to become one of the leading luxury brands in the world. They have managed to offer customers the best luxury value for their money.

On the other hand, Toyota has managed to become synomous with quality & reliability.

The outer carriages r not the same. The interiors r not the same. The ride is not the same. The features r not the same. The resale value is not the same. And u will not feel the same.

This is what makes a brand different from another even if it is the same manufacturer. If u feel better, more comfortable personally in the Lexus, & u can afford it, then make it ur own.

In the long run, u want to drive what makes u happy with no regrets, afterall we spend so much time in our vehicles it should be enjoyable.

The main difference is the ride quality. The lexus has a smoother ride much like a limo. However, the Camry has better gas mileag and it is cheaper.

The biggest reason for me would be the warranty: the Toyota has 3 yr 36k, Lexus has a 4 year 50k, & in my experience Lexus warranties more problems than Toyota does, & many times will continue to warranty issues after it has technically expired. Additionally, if you're going to service ur car at the dealership, Lexus dealers offer many more amenities than Toyota dealers, things like free loaner cars during major services & the technicians themselves r often times hired from Toyota dealers after showing special skills. The Lexus is made in Japan instead of my homestate of KY, if that matters. Most Lexus dealers offer free car washes for the life of the car. Lexus typically uses a different suspension, which results in a smoother ride, & also insulates the car better for a quieter ride.

Sorry, there is no logical justification for spending the extra 10k on the Lexus.

It is your money, so only you can justify what you spend it on.

If you want it, buy it. If you can think of better ways to spend 10k, then get something else.

It is that simple.
