l would like to know the main difference between Lexus Is350 and Lexus Es350? which car is better for me? l like good brakes and a powerful engine.

The are both useless pal - over priced and over rated - get a Beemer instead

The motor is the same in both the IS & ES 350's, just small differences in tuning. If u value performance, go with the IS. The IS is Lexus is performance model, where as the ES is the entry level, Camry-based sedan. The IS is also rear wheel drive where the ES is front wheel drive, which makes all the difference to a real enthusiast.

PS l work for a high-end car dealer & drive Audi's, BMW's, Mercedes's, etc all day. Even though l love Audi is & BMW is l came to the conclusion this week that the Lexus is for me. l had driven a Audi A6, BMW 325, & Lexus GS300 SportDesign on tuesday, & the GS felt better in just about every way.

They are two very different cars and they are made for two very different tastes. You're not going to be able to make an educated decision asking ''which is a better car'' on the Internet.it makes more sense to go and see for yourself.at the dealership.

well the is is much smaller but is a little cheaper but l like the es better but lexus is a great brand especally since its from the toyota group

Depends on what you like a Lexus is nice if you like a floaty ride and BMW is more stiff.

ES350 & IS350 share the same basic 3.5 liter engine. However the in the ES the engine is rated at 270 hp wheras the IS makes 306.

Yes the ES is a dressed up Camry, however compare it back to back to other luxury cars in its price range & u will see that the ES does not fall short on anything. If u want comfort go for the ES350.

The IS350 is Lexus' compact sport sedan intended to compete directly with the BMW 3 Series. Even though handling may still not be as good as BMW cars, it will smoke a 330 anyday & is thousands cheaper than the new 335i while still having more power. Besides the 335i uses Turbo while the IS is non-aspirated. What this means is that the BMW will be a maintinence nightmare when u have to get oil changes, tune ups, etc. Plus the Lexus has a much nicer interior.

Sounds like you like the sporty kind. Go with the IS. Lexus is always at or near the top of customer satisfaction. l believe they have the highest percent of return customers. Drive them. You will see why. Just because they are Toyota does not make them a Camry
