l live in California, so l do not need all-season tires.Am after comfort, so l would need one in the touring category.

Just get the same tires you have or you could go to a website and find out the facts.

Michelin are definately the best. xgtz4 are a great all around tire.

Toyo Proxes are great tires. l have them on my car and really like them. You should stay with what you have, apparently the car manufacturer thought so as that is what they installed on your car. Michelin is are spendy. Toyo is are one of the most widely used tires in the racing world also. That should give you an idea of their reputation.

It would be worth checking into Falcon Ziex also,as they are a directional thread design with a reasonable price tag,they also ride decent and usually balance well.

Depends on where & how u drive. I've had Pirelli is on my wifes ES & they've got a great ride & perform well while lasting a good distance. Some higher performance tires have great grip but only last 15 to 20k miles. You should at least install the same speed rating & dimensions the manufacturer had but then decide what best fits ur needs. If u live in Seattle you'd want a good wet traction tire where in a hot part of the country a good summer tire will do a better job.

There are many tire options out there and Toyo are great tires. Lexus does not have a big tire preferences as some vehicles have Michelin, some have Dunlop.

l do believe that Toyo and Michelin are the top two tire makers in the world so you can not go wrong with either one. Also consider NItto. They also have a great touring tire.
