I am trying to replace the fuel filter on my car and can not seem to find it.

why do not you get chilton books, they have everything you need, it is the bible of car repair

The filter is just forward of the left rear wheel, just forward of where the fuel pipe comes down fron the fuel tank.

The sneeky bit is that Toyota/Lexus put a very neat plastic shroud over the filter assembly.
Remove the cover & there is ur filter,

Safety note.
This is a dangerous job, petrol is a light explosive.
The tank will fully drain uncontrollably onto the ground when u remove the filter from the fuel line.
This job is best left for a person with good mechanical ability

From the Lexus dealer. You can order one or they might let you use theirs.
