Hey, im looking to get my first car but l cant decide on what to get. l am a beginner driver and l REALLY like the lexus but the 250 only has 204 hp (and being in college, l wanna impress my friends with a powerful car). The 350 has much better HP but its only RWD and my friend said that as a new driver, l would kill myself if l were to drive it.

The other two cars, l have not read much about yet but people ahve recommended it to me.

Has anyone tested the IS 250? How do you think it performs? speed, acceleration wise. Not to sound offensive but im a male in college and a car that is powerful enough for a soccar mom, l might want something more powerful.

Also, do you think a begginner driver can handle a RWD car with 304 hp?
Note: When l ask, what you think of the IS 250, l mean, Do you think it is too weak? Does it accelerate too slowly? Etc.

l have not driven the IS, but everything built by Lexus is very solid & a nice ride. l have driven the G35 & the 350 & although l had a blast in the 350, the G35 is one of the nicest cars I've driven. l am older than you, so that may play into that opinion. l have driven a lot of fast cars, & the G is just a great balance of smooth, fast & fun.

The G35X is all-wheel drive, which gives it a traction & safety advantage. The A4 is a great driving car & is also available with awd. I've driven several, but l will tell you. they r expensive to fix & not as reliable as the others.

I'd give the IS the edge in looks & luxury. The 350 gets the edge in sporty. But a G35X (second only to an M3 BMW) is my idea of the ideal car.

screw gettin anything other than rwd. if u really wanna learn to drive, rwd is great. it has so much more possibility than awd or fwd in my opinion. then u can impress ur friends with drifts an stuff but u gota be used to ur car for that an probably dont wanna do that in a new car. if u r in the south it is fine. but if u live in a snowy area then u probably will want something other than rwd if u r just learning. what u really need to do is test drive them. personally l would have gotten a mercedes but u seem to know what u want

My first car was a RWD LS sedan. It was really fun to drive but can be dangerousin the winter. If you live in an area without snow, RWD is not that bad. l would perfer all wheel drive but it depends if you want to race in your new car sometimes.

if its ur FIRST car..i would not get anything high end..the cost to fix these cars r bank! but im a current owner of a is250..and l drove the previous model..the is300..my current car is250 is very nice it seems to pull like the is300. if u wanna impress ur friends the is350 anit bad, rwd anit all that bad & plus its manual. the is350 only comes in auto.

other cars to keep in mind EVO9 & ST l ;] BOTH AWDs. both having GREAT power & acellertion..it would probaly beat on all the other cars u listed.
