What is the best and most affordable Disney World deal for a family of three

l book all my trips through http://mousetrips.com They r absolutely wonderful. They know everything about Disney & can help u to plan the best trip. They have the same prices as Disney, but will be there every step of the way & help u get the most out of ur trip.

In my opinion the best offer Disney has right now is the Disney park hopper with water parks & fun option & the Disney meal plan. The meal plan will save you, on average, 40% off of ur dining. You will get to eat at much nicer restaraunts & still save money. This is a great plan & l have used it every time since it came out. The ticket this year also has a big discount. l think it is one u reach a 5 day ticket that the price per day per person only goes up about $1.00, that is a great deal. The water park option will pay for itself after 2 visits to a water park or Disney Quest. Disney Quest is one of my favorite place to go in Disney, so l love this option as well.

l would book air through an online discounter though. The prices on air from Disney is not discounted at all, so u will pay full price.

Here is an answer to a similar question l answered:

Just remember, all the prices for Disney r going to run the same. Disney does not offer different prices to different companies. The only way to get a discount, unless Disney releases a code, is to go with room only. However, u will not be saving much considering Disney has so many great deals this year with tickets & dining. Also, u can purchase an annual pass to get a discount, but the same problems apply. With the prices of tickets this year, u usually wo not be much better off paying for an annual pass.

As l mention below. l think u could really use the assistance of a travel agent. They will really be able to help u get the most out of ur budget to get the absolute vacation. http://mousetrips.com/ is a fabulous agency & they r so helpful, they will really be able to help u put together a great trip.

l do not recommend an online discounter such as expedia, priceline, etc. Remember, a good deal & the best option r not always the same thing. l have known several people that have booked with an online discounter, only to arrive & discover they have no room. This is a terrible way to start ur vacation. Although u may still be able to get a room, it is very upsetting to get there & discover this.

A discounter may get u a slightly lower price, but u may also be losing out on alot. disney ocassaionally drops codes that will be far better than the discount u could get online. AAA & online discounters will not change rates if they do come out for you. Also, if u book with an online discounter, u r on ur own. You have to take care of any problems or any additonal things u want. I've had a few experiences with AAA & l was not satisfied with them. l booked a big trip & they never told me disney dropped a code that would save me more than $500, they would not book me dining, tours etc. So even though l booked through them l did not get anything special.

l highly recommend contacting a travel agent to help u with the planning. l always use a travel agent, they do not charge extra & they can answer all ur questions & make it so much easier on you. It makes the trip more enjoyable. l use http://mousetrips.com/ & they r absolutely wonderful. Not only has my travel agent saved me a ton of money over the past few years. But she has helped me plan wonderful vacations & get the most out of my trips. She books everything for me, from my trip & tickets, to insurance, town cars, rental cars, dining, tours, etc. She is wonderful. There is no added fees so for me it was not a hard decision to make, but the expertise, superb quality of business & knowledge they provide is priceless. If l email her a question, she has a response to me in minutes. l would never go to Disney without booking my trip through her because of how wonderful she is.
Hope this helps, if u need anything else just let me know!

Below is my answer:

Hello,
This depends on what ur budget it. This year Disney has really great prices out for families. If u really want to experience the trip of a lifetime, l really think u would want to stay on site. It is so much easier & more convienient for you. Rather than driving to the places u want to go u can hop right on to Disney transportation & go to the places u wish. Plus, if u stay at an off site resort the transportation times r scheduled, when the little ones r tired it can be a pain to get back to the hotel. Plus, u r less likely to fully utilize ur tickets because u r less likely to go to the park when u have to wait for hotel transportation.

Now, back to ur package. l suggest staying away from July, this is the hottest time of the year & it can get pretty miserable. If u must go in July try to go before the 4th, if not before, go after. To save u more money, value season begins August 27 & continues through October 4. Regular season is April 23, August 26. Going in value instead of regular will save u quite a bit of money.

Disney has their value, moderate & deluxe resorts so just about any budget will be able to go. They also release special codes once & a while that make prices even lower. Tickets this year r especially nice. You can choose how many days of tickets u want, if u r going 7 nights & only want 3 days of tickets, u can do that. But they have made it an incentive this year for increasing the days of tickets by making it very inexpensive to add on an extra day. For example, 2 adults & 2 children under 9 can from from a 7 to an 8 ticket for less than $9. Then, if u wish u can add on park hopping so u can visit more than one park in a day. You can also add on water parks & more which includes visits to the Disney Water Parks & a few other features. Also, if u do not plan on using all the days on ur tickets u can purchase the no experation option.

The best thing Disney has done this year for their value traveler is their new dining plan. For the first time that l can remember, Disney has a dining plan that is worth the extra cost & will usually save u 40% or more off of ur dining. The most budget friendly plan includes one counter-service meal, one table-service meal & one snack. It is a great deal & is sure to save u lots of money.

l suggest looking into all ur options, there really is a lot of different ways to go. Again, l highly recommend staying on site if u really want to have the trip of a life time that ur grandkids will never forget.

l would recommend u contacting a travel agency. They can help u with the booking & answer all ur questions so that u r sure to get the most out of ur vacation. If u have never been to Disney or if u r unfamiliar with what they have to offer, it can be very difficult to book a trip on ur own.

Hope this helps!
